A super strong fear of cooties did this to me when I was little. It has gotten better but it isn't gone yet. I'm 25. Or alternativley sexual abuse could do this.

I do not understand that myself. I have had a lot of bad experiences but I would never turn down love from who I want it from. I think it takes a calloused and narcissistic person to do that.
