Because we're living in a time where marriage isn't accepted, monogamy is dwindling, standards and even COMMON SENSE are gone. If it keeps going like this, ya "slut shaming" will be gone but so will most of society.

Probably because being a slut is pretty shameful. It's not a good trait, so why should it be encouraged?
