y = 4 cos² √ x? y= 1/2 4(1-cos 2 rootx) differentiate now y=- 2 sin 2 rootx 2 1/(2root x)=- 4sin(2 root x/(2 rootx) Please check the answer.

Chain Rule y = 4 cos² √ x ---> y' = -8(cos√ x)(sin √ x)/(2√ x) = (-4/√ x)(cos√ x)(sin √ x) or -2sin (2√ x)

4 * 2 * cos(sqrt(x)) * (-sin(sqrt(x))) * (1/2) * x^(-1/2) => 4 * 2 * (1/2) * (-1) * sin(sqrt(x)) * cos(sqrt(x)) / sqrt(x) => -4 * sin(sqrt(x)) * cos(sqrt(x)) / sqrt(x) => -2 * 2 * sin(sqrt(x)) * cos(sqrt(x)) / sqrt(x) => -2 * sin(2 * sqrt(x)) / sqrt(x)
