f(x)=x^2 (assumed x2 is a misprint for x^2) g(x)=1/2x+3 (interpreted per PEMDAS rules) g(f(x)) = (1/2)f(x) + 3 = (1/2)x^2 + 3 g(f(-1)) = (1/2)(-1)² + 3 = 1/2 + 3 = 7/2 = 3.5

F(-1) = -2 as (-1)*(2) = -2 1/2(-2)+3=2 as -1+3=2 The answer is 2 You input minus 1 into the f equation, then input the answer of the f equation into the g equation
