Is spermatocele surgery safe? My mate is considering it and he s worried if it could leave him infertile, he s still 15, in puberty?

All surgeries have risks. His doctor will recommend whether surgery is appropriate. If there is no discomfort, it may be best just to let it be and check it periodically as spermatoceles are usually harmless.

1) Depends who is doing it. 2) 15 seems a little young for this, I would seek second medical opinion.

Just a fluid filled cyst that is easily removed, should not impact the testicles if it is not inside one of them.
