    According to the office of civil rights, calling a customer dear, sweatheart or other endearing names is sexual harassment.

    No, the waitress at my local restaurant always calls everyone sweetie. I don't consider that harassment. I'm sure if I asked her to stop she would. I don't think of it as harassment at all though.
