Is it a bad idea to have completely white bedding in my college dorm?

No. You can have bedding, of any color, in a college dorm room. In fact, bed bugs HATE white sheets.

No, just keep it washed. What would you be doing on it that would make it so dirty? You want White so you can see what's on it and know if it needs to be cleaned. You should do it at least every other week or sooner if you sweat alot.

Well, that depends on how often you are going to launder it. White shows dirt and stains more than a pattern.

It might get dirty quick, what if you get your period and it stains it. But white it nice decor.
