3y = 5x - 7 y = (3/5) x - 7/3 m = 3/5 y - 5 = (3/5) [ x + 1 ] y = (3/5) x + 3/5 + 5 y = (3/5) x + 28/5

A line passes through the point (– 1, 5) and parallels the line with equation 5x – 3y + 7 = 0. What's your equation? 5x - 3y - (5×(-1) - 3×5) = 0 which is 5x - 3y + 20 = 0
