S.I.N has 9 numbers but asked for last 4 digits?

I m from Canada and our Social Insurance Number has nine digits: XXX-XXX-XXX I am asked to provide last 4 digits but as you can see there are three sets of three digits... Please help, thanks.

Last four digits, 123-456-789, use the last four, 6-789, without the dash.

Seriously dude, put in the the last 4 numbers - the last one from the second set of 3 and then the last 3. Hope you're not applying for a job that needs common sense.

What exactly is throwing you here? A dash isn't a digit so you don't count it. Go to the last digit and count back three more skipping the dash.
