What if you're shy/uncomfortable and not into doing the silly wedding photos as a bridesmaid/groomsman?

I see some silly (on purpose) wedding photos sometimes. But what if you're uncomfortable posing funny or making a funny face or gesture? How do you pull it off? Can everyone pull it off?

Don't agree to be a bridesmaids/groomsman if you are socially awkward and can't fulfill your duties and be in wedding photos.
