Best not to go there in the Summer, I'll say.

    I'd guess fairly hot.

    Hot, very hot.

Corona--2 million degrees Fahrenheit photosphere (apparent surface)--9950F except in sunspots, where it gets as low as 8000F core--estimated up to 65 million degrees F this skips various intervening layers such as the chromosphere, radiative layer, etc.

You could fry an egg on the surface.

The corona is 6000 K and radiates white light to earth.

The core is thought to be at least 27 million degrees K (but no one knows for sure...) the surface varies from about 6200 degrees in a sunspot, up to 10,000 degrees F on the photosphere.

Hot enough to fry an egg.

    BEYOND hot.

10,000 degrees on outer ...much hotter towards core.

    Hotter than 100 degrees.

    Very.

6000 K at the surface of the photosphere, 15 million K at the centre, 30 000 K in the prominences and 1 million K in its atmosphere.

    At least four.
