Corona--2 million degrees Fahrenheit photosphere (apparent surface)--9950F except in sunspots, where it gets as low as 8000F core--estimated up to 65 million degrees F this skips various intervening layers such as the chromosphere, radiative layer, etc.

The core is thought to be at least 27 million degrees K (but no one knows for sure...) the surface varies from about 6200 degrees in a sunspot, up to 10,000 degrees F on the photosphere.
