Is vomiting on day 6 of a tonsillectomy normal?

I threw up about 7 times. One after another. Some blood came out, not much and it quickly stopped. Some white scabbing came off too. What should I do? I feel calm now, but don t know if I m supposed to go to the ER or if this is all okay?

If you are vomiting frequently, running a fever, or have moderate to severe bleeding, this warrants a trip to the ER. You can become dehydrated from vomiting and that can be dangerous. Go to the hospital.

Probably unrelated to the tonsillectomy. If you're feeling better, I wouldn't worry too much.

Shithead, call your physician. You should not still have an inflamed or infected throat if you just had your tonsils REMOVED.
