A better question is why are you taking too much of any drug. Of course something happened, you just didn't feel it. Stomach damage, liver damage, heart damage, brain damage.

liver damage is not obvious immediately. And you may have liver damage, which will be with you for the rest of your painful life. But you may be lucky, 3.2 grams is max dose per day, you took 4 grams, not much above the max.
