in this part of my story a man is trying to recuse his friend who is chained in a "historical" castle, and I was trying to find words one would use to describe the smell like something to go with damp. any help.

TR Cluster pronunciation AmE?

In American English the TR cluster is pronounced as CHR like word (Tree). My question is about word (Industry), there's an "S" before the TR, so it is an ST cluster, so the question is, do we still pronounce it as CHR or True T because of the "S"?
