i have a job interview for a sales/advertising/marketing kind of job. red lipstick looks best on me, nudes/peaches/roses wash me out because i have a darker skintone

I definitely don't think so, but I guess it depends on the job. If you suspect they'll be more conservative, you might want to skip out on it. But under normal circumstances, I don't think it'll be that big of a deal.

Subtle red. Slight tint will do. Apply as normal wipe away the excess with make up wipe or tissue.

Yes you will. Unless the job involves swinging around a pole, your make up should be neutral and understated and your dress professional and conservative. Express yourself with bold color make up on your own time.
