I don't think its parasites. I think it's maggots - baby flies. The flesh fly: https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=... Flies of the family Sarcophagidae are ovoviviparous. That is, the female keeps the fertilized eggs inside her until they hatch, and then she deposits the maggots on a good food source, such as a dead body, meat, or poop. They look a lot like houseflies, but houseflies lay eggs rather than give live "birth." So you swatted a fly that was about to give birth. As I said, these are parasites, so there is no fear of that. But these flies can carry disease just like houseflies, so I hope you washed your hands.

Common houseflies can give live birth, and may extrude their own maggots if killed. If you are not careful in finding all the maggots, you may have a burst of new flies in the area in a week or two. For this reason, I usually take a dead fly to an ant hill in the yard. The ants are good at hunting down and disposing of every last maggot that comes out. There are some kinds of flies that will infest an open wound if you have one, but as far as I know, those lay eggs, so if you saw maggots, most likely it was a housefly. Was it about half an inch long, with gray stripes on the thorax (back)?
