When I was little I had a little green trike. How do I know that I remember it as Green? What if it was yellow?

Ask a relative if they remember, not that it matters all that much. Or look in family photo album.

It is normal not to remember everything or every day of what occurred many years ago. It may have been that you painted it which would confuse your memory.

Then you'd remember it as being yellow. Either way it makes no difference as no one else is interested in what colour it was
