If your loved one has different paranormal beliefs to yourself, then how do you deal with that?

For example I do believe in spirits but I don't think that you can contact them with Ouija boards, whereas my smootchy honeybuns thinks that you can. How do you resolve such differences? My honey gets really, really angry if you disagree with him even a little bit.
