I couldn’t care less about anybody else, but I do care about myself and my own pleasures. I might as well get used to people calling me a wretched, worthless person because I’m not changing.

nothing wrong in caring for yourself, but you should care for others you know too, people you don't know, not so much.

Because God said to love your neighbor as yourself, Jesus had a caring compassion for others, we should do the same.
