It depends on the donor. Every scholarship has its own rules. Many donors wouldn't have a problem with this, but they may reduce the amount of the scholarship since you'll only need it for half of the year.

That would depend upon the scholarship - if you plan to delay your initial college attendance to Spring 2019, check with each scholarship source to see if they will allow that.
