Is this a correct sentence 'there is more danger on females than males in the army'?

For a start: "Is this sentence correct?" I would write: "In the army females face more danger than males do."

"for females". Preposition use in English is idiomatic, but there is no sense of "on" that would work here. Traffic is a danger for pedestrians. Lightning strikes are a danger for golfers and people fishing in open boats. The expression is "danger for".
