How do we know the structure of the virus?

How do we measure shape of viruses when viruses are significantly smaller than wavelength of light? So since we can't use optical microscopes to see how virus looks like, what instrument do we use to see them?

We use electron microscopes to study the morphology of virions/viruses.

Viruses can be observed by electronic microscopes. They use the electron beam. They output is also direct (on the screen), ie. they itselves don't need computer support.
