If three carts and three trucks could move a certain amount of coal in 15 days and if four carts and two trucks could move it in 20 days, how long would it take one cart to move all the coal alone?

Let C, T be the work done by 1 cart, 1 truck per day, then to complete the whole work, 15(3C+3T)=1 20(4C+2T)=1 => C+T=1/45 2C+T=1/40 => C=1/40-1/45=1/360 => To complete the whole work by the cart only needs 360 days
