Divide 45 by 3 = 15. So you need a number below 15 e.g. 13, and a number above 15 e.g. 17. 13, 15, 17. Add them together = 45.

Let x be the lowest number of the three. x + x + 2 + x + 4 = 45 3x + 6 = 45 3x = 39 x = 13 x + 2 = 15 x + 4 = 17
