there is medication for this... there is also information online about how to reduce blood pressure naturally and whether this works is a mystery to me, because i haven't tried any natural cures.

Medications. If you are sedentary, exercise will help a bit, but not cure it. If you are overweight, getting down to a normal weight might solve it. But if you live a normally-active life and are not overweight, only medications will help.

Lose weight. Take regular exercise. Eat a balanced diet. Cut down on saturated fat. Cut down on salt. Don't eat ready made or processed food - full of fat and salt. Avoid stress and anxiety Take any prescribed medication.
