How to not show your kids that you are angry after get off work?

some days I am thoroughly p. off. when I get home and it is hard to not show it to the kids and how I react to them , they might think that I am angry person or angry at them. is this a common thing? what to do about it?

spend 20 minutes either in the driveway or nearby pulled over and cool off from your bad day.......pretty common...
