Ask your orthodontist

I've been in dentistry a long time, never heard of an orthodontist extracting teeth. Ever. And radiographs are needed prior to any extractions.

Orthodontists do not extract teeth. They straighten teeth with braces and Invisalign An oral surgeon, or maybe a dentist, would extract teeth, but x-rays are always needed beforehand.
