You can but there are clinics for that which can offer everything without it going on your medical record.

You may want to call them up and ask if they do testing for sti's, not all clinics do them. If they do then yes you can make an appointment with them to get the sti test done.

I am in Glasgow and the health centre has a GUM clinic you make an appointment with for the test.
