Does drinking and peeing a lot mean diabetes?

I tend to drink A LOT of water and as a result pee a lot, is it possible I have diabetes? I only drink a lot if I'm at home most of the day and not doing anything.

lets make a checklist...do you eat lots of sugar? do you do any exercise? are you excessively tired? you can tell which is the right answer

Yes. You should get tested.

You drink a lot of water so will pee a lot, doesn't sound like diabetes but then ask your doc for tests and find out. When I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes 10 years ago I had no symptoms and didn't drink much water.

It may or may not be diabetes, a blood test is needed to diagnose diabetes.

No! thirst is a symptom of diabetes but if you drink the recommended 8 glasses of water at least a day you will be just fine! Drinking water is very healthy
