    DEFINITELY see a doctor and make sure you did not get rabies.

    I wouldn't. It's supposed to hurt. Tetanus usually comes from elephant or horse poop. Rabies is unlikely and he is a pet.

    Better call the humane society, there's another guy on here that got bit by the same dog.

    You may want to go get a tetanus shot just to be safe. Hopefully you washed the wound out well with soap and water then applied some antiseptic to it to help prevent infection. Hopefully your pals dog has had his rabies shots too.
