How long will my iron pills take to work?

I have anemia that effects my daily living. I am constantly so tired. My doctor told me I should go get some iron pills and take them. I just took my first one today after dinner. How long will it take to start getting rid of the tiredness??

Weeks. It takes time for the level's to build back up in your body,. You'll probably be on the pills forever now.

It will take at least a week for the iron pills to have any effect on you.

Take vegetables, liver, and stuff rich in iron. Continue the pills as prescribed. You should be getting better in two weeks or so. You may repeat Hemoglobin levels to see the change. Regards.
