Why do we simply do 10/2= 5 and conclude that it moves 5m/s Why do we divide 10 by 2 Thanks

It's awkward to say it moves 31.4 meters per 6.28 seconds.

    10 m * 1000 = 10000 mm 2s * 1000 = 2000 m s which means = 5 mm /1 ms
