Besides signing your name, what is the point of learning cursive? Logically or Realistically speaking. Isn't printing enough, etc?

    People still use it to write, so you have to know how to read it.

    Cursive is faster - an advantage when doing exams. Both my parents had beautiful handwriting, unfortunately as a skill it doesn't seem to be genetic.

    Cursive trains the brain as well as honing your fine motor skills - which makes your fingers more flexible and able to do small tasks. #2 - a cursive signature is harder to copy - i e cursive is more anti-fraud than printing.
