Why has there been so much heavy rain/floods this year?
1 answer
Even thunderstorms that don't reach severe limits bring so much heavy rain anymore. There is never any wind or even that many lightning strikes but lots of rain. what is going on? this never used to be the norm

The reason why there have been so much heavy rain/floods this year is b/c there haven't been so much heavy rain/floods this year. Anecdotal data is not evidence. Asker has posed a classic example of 'begging the question.'
