We have a right triangle with one side 5 miles and the other 10 miles. The side with 10 miles is the "trail," and the "inside" of the triangle as the "woods." So the hypotenuse is the sqrt of 125. I know we need to minimize the time. So distance = rate*time, or time = distance/rate....

For example I do believe in spirits but I don't think that you can contact them with Ouija boards, whereas my smootchy honeybuns thinks that you can. How do you resolve such differences? My honey gets really, really angry if you disagree with him even a little bit.
