I never eat fast food and always cook for myself. I'm a 34 year old male if that makes any difference. I eat medium proportions 2-3 times a day yet I am still at 6'2" 266 lbs.

Okay but what are you cooking? Do you exercise at all? Not eating fast food and cooking for yourself don't automatically guarantee anything.

You must be eating the wrong foods. Limit your bad carbs and avoid sugar as much as you can. Eat more protein, eg for breakfast eat your eggs without bread. For lunch, instead of a sandwich eat a chicken breast with vegetables and for dinner do the same or substitute the Chichen for beef v.

Like me, I only eat home cooked food. When I eat once a day I am able to maintain my my weight, when I eat two meals a day I gain. Annoying really as I like to eat brunch as well as dinner.

Portion control and diet can only go so far - make sure you have a physically active lifestyle and those pounds will come right off.
