f(x) = 5 sin (2x/3) - 7 has an amplitude of 5. That means from its baseline, the sine function goes up 5 units and down 5 units, so the difference between it's maximum and minimum values is 5+5=10................ANS

10 That's five times the difference of sin(x)

f'(x) = 5(2/3)cos(2x/3) = 0 cos(2x/3) = 0 2x/3 = π/2 or 3π/2 x = 3π/4 or 9π/4 f(3π/4) = -2 (maximum) f(9π/4) = -12 (minimum) Answer 10 See Graph https://www.desmos.com/calculator/pjo6ja...

It is a sinusoidal function. The difference between maximum and minimum is twice the amplitude. 2(5) = 10
